Campbell’s is insisting that its soups aren’t made with 3D-printed chicken, lab-grown chicken, or bioengineered meat. The food giant issued the explanation on its website after leaked audio allegedly captured Campbell’s vice president of information technology saying the company’s meat “came from a 3D printer.”
“A recent video contained false comments about our ingredients,” Campbell’s writes. “The comments heard on the recording about our food are not only inaccurate, they are absurd. We do not use lab-grown chicken or any form of artificial or bioengineered meat in our soups.” It adds that the company only uses chicken from “reputable” suppliers in the US that meet USDA standards.
The audio was released as part of a lawsuit filed against Campbell’s by a former employee, who claims to have recorded a conversation with IT VP Martin Bally. During the conversation, the person purported to be Bally makes racist remarks, while calling Campbell’s food “bioengineered” and for “poor people.”
“Even in a can of soup, I look at it — and look at bioengineered meat,” the person in the recording says. “I don’t want to eat a fucking piece of chicken that came from a 3D printer, do you?”
Campbell’s has put Bally on leave while it investigates the alleged comments. “Keep in mind, the alleged comments heard on the audio were made by a person in IT, who has nothing to do with how we make our food,” Campbell’s says.
Mormon Wives’ Jessi Ngatikaura Admits to Affair Amid Separation From Husband Jordan Ngatikaura
Jessi Draper Ngatikaura isn’t keeping secrets.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star made a shocking allegation about her castmate Demi Engemann and her husband Bret Engemann after the 30-year-old made unflattering remarks on social media.
“Since she wants to be petty and be an a–hole,” Jessi, 33, said in a video posted on her Instagram Stories Nov. 25, “I think I’m just gonna go ahead and say that grandpa Bret likes to drink her piss like it’s dirty soda and he gulps it down like water.”
E! News has reached out to Demi and Bret’s reps for comment but has not heard back.
In the clip, Jessi shared a screenshot of a comment Demi left on a TikTok post, in which she seemingly responded to Vanderpump Villa star Lisa Vanderpump’s comments in a recent interview defending her employee Marciano Brunette against Demi’s allegation that he engaged in “unwanted touch” with her while the SLOMW cast visited Italy to film a Vanderpump Villa crossover episode. (Marciano has denied Demi’s allegation.)

At some point in the not-too-distant future, Manchester City will have to hire a coach to succeed Pep Guardiola. Nobody knows if that will be next year, the year after or even three years down the line, but right now, the man who is becoming the obvious candidate is Bayern Munich‘s Vincent Kompany.
When Bayern face Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League at the Emirates on Wednesday, you could argue that the two coaches with the strongest credentials to replace Guardiola — Kompany and Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta — will go head-to-head in a battle between the contenders. But although Arteta was Pep’s No. 2 at City for three years before taking the Arsenal job in 2019, he has become the embodiment of his own project at the Emirates to the extent that I can’t see him jumping ship for City.
I have known Kompany — let’s call him Vinny from now on — for almost 20 years, going back to when we met through a mutual friend while he was playing for Hamburg in 2008, and I now believe that he really can be the guy who succeeds Pep at City.
It’s all about timing in football — lots of so-called Pep successors have fallen by the wayside over the years — and you have to factor in that Vinny is managing a huge, powerful club in Bayern. But as footballer, wherever you are, if you’re at Liverpool, Manchester United or wherever, which club would it take for you to leave there? The chances are that it is probably Real Madrid. And I think for Vinny, Man City is probably his Real Madrid.
In my opinion, he would be a perfect fit to replace Pep at some point in the future. You need to be a big personality to follow somebody like Pep Guardiola, and Vinny has that. He also has the political skills to manage above, below and sideways, as well having the connection and love for the club. That is rooted in his 11 years as a player at the Etihad. He won 12 trophies during that period, 11 as club captain, including four Premier League titles.
But I think it’s worth outlining Vinny’s personality and characteristics before talking about his football philosophy and why it would work for City. When our paths first crossed, he was playing as a No. 10 for Hamburg, alongside Rafael van der Vaart. He had been something of a wonderkid, the kind of young player who was a sensation in video game Championship Manager, but he also immediately struck you as a really cool guy and we said we would keep in touch.
A few months later, by pure coincidence, he ended up joining me at City. Just weeks later, Sheikh Mansour’s takeover transformed the club from what we called “Joke City” into the club that is now one of the biggest and most successful in the world.
Vinny was only 22 at the time, but his presence and leadership skills were immediately obvious. He commanded the respect of everybody because this was a guy who could comfortably converse with teammates in English, French, German and Spanish — any cliques that might have formed were broken down by Vinny because he was a unifying presence.
He is one of those incredibly fortunate or gifted people who excels in anything he does, but he is also big on the importance of hard work alongside innate ability. He’s an academic — he studied for and completed a business degree at the University of Manchester in 2017 while captaining City — but also a supremely talented footballer.
But while he can be sweet, Vinny can also be direct and he can be angry. I have seen that side of him, because there are certain things he won’t tolerate.
I remember playing in a preseason friendly alongside him against Inter Milan in Baltimore in 2010. Inter had just won the Champions League and they were absolutely killing us. We ended up losing 3-0.
But because Vinny was so angry with our performance as a team, he started to take out his frustration on Inter striker Samuel Eto’o, who was one of the best players in the world at the time. Vinny could accept losing, but not when he felt the opposition didn’t have to work for it, and he kicked Eto’o all over the pitch.
At half-time, Eto’o spoke to our teammates, Yaya and Kolo Touré, asking them to tell Vinny to calm down a bit because it was only a friendly. When the message reached Vinny, he replied by telling Yaya and Kolo that the more Eto’o complained, the more he would kick him. And that’s exactly what he did.
As a teammate, when you see that kind of drive, determination and anger, it raises standards. Vinny could, and did, lead by example, but he also has that fierce winning mentality that defines all great teams and great players. He was the natural leader as the captain at City, and I can see how he has taken that into management in the way that he motivates players.
At Burnley, he wanted the team to press more often and with greater intensity, but he was clever with how he got the message across. Rather than impose his demands on the team as a whole, he would make individual players think that he was tailoring the message and tactics just for them. One of the strikers was on track for 10-15 goals a season, but he wanted to score more, so Vinny convinced him to press higher up the pitch because he would win the ball back in more dangerous positions and, as a consequence, create more chances to score goals. The attacker suddenly had a plan to score more goals, but Vinny had actually convinced one of his forwards to do more defending.

Moreno: No Bundesliga team can compete with Bayern at their best
Alejandro Moreno reacts to Bayern Munich’s 6-2 win over SC Freiburg in the Bundesliga.
At Bayern, where he knows his team will dominate most games in the Bundesliga, Vinny loads his players will tactical plans to overcome opponents who try to stifle Bayern with different approaches. Some teams will double press, others go to man-to-man, some will defend low, others defend high — and Vinny has had success by deploying Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala as false No. 9s. Some managers live and die by their philosophies, but sometimes it pays not to be so rigid.
That’s why Vinny will have enjoyed the challenge of digging in away to Paris Saint-Germain recently, when Bayern played with 10 players for the whole of the second half and still came away with a win against the European champions. There was a level of grit to it, with periods of suffering, that will have pleased him because that kind of resilience and spirit is what wins you things at the end of a season.
Vinny is working under constant pressure at Bayern. They expect to win the league every season and conquer Europe. Despite many people doubting his credentials when he took the job after being relegated with Burnley 18 months ago, he has proved them wrong and earned himself a new contract as a reward.
He is passing every test at Bayern, so he is much more likely to be a candidate for City than he would have been had Pep stepped down at the end of the 2023-24 season. His playing style, which demands his charges are ready to receive the ball and play with pace and movement, would be readily received by the City squad. His relationship with the fans and hierarchy at the club would ensure he would have the instant acceptance that David Moyes and Unai Emery didn’t have when replacing Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsène Wenger at Manchester United and Arsenal respectively.
If he ended up returning to City as coach, Vinny wouldn’t try to be Pep, and that’s an important factor. He would probably be nervous about the challenge, but he is strong enough in his own beliefs to ensure he would meet it with the same strength of character that he has shown throughout his career. But it’s all about timing, and Bayern would be a big club to leave.
Ultimately, though, Vinny will want to test himself at a top club in the Premier League. There is none more suited to him than Manchester City.

Editor’s note: Black Friday doesn’t officially take place until Friday, November 28th; however, if you want to shop ahead of time, we’ve rounded up the best early Black Friday deals you can already get.
Whether you’re wearing them for the morning commute, while traveling, or if you’re simply trying to find some peace and quiet while working at home, noise-canceling headphones are a more essential piece of kit nowadays than ever before. And you’ve got a slew of great options to pick from; it’s hard to make a bad choice.
There are longtime heavyweights like Bose and Sony to pick from. Apple has quickly carved into the market with the luxurious AirPods Max. And if you’ve got an ear that demands the best audio quality, headphones from Bowers & Wilkins and Sennheiser might appeal to you more than the mainstream contenders.
Not everyone loves the feel of earbuds, and there are scenarios where over-ear and on-ear headphones are just simpler or make more sense than wireless buds — particularly if lengthy battery life matters to you.
No matter how you’re using them, the criteria for picking the best noise-canceling headphones haven’t changed.
What we’re looking for
We put our top picks for noise-canceling headphones through many hours of testing. Since their ability to tamp down the loudness of your surroundings is critical, we use them in a variety of environments — including busy city streets, the office, coffee shops, and public transit — and for more quiet, focused listening at home.We sample their transparency mode to see how clearly the outside world comes through and if it’s easy to carry on conversations while wearing the headphones. We have friends and family try them on and provide feedback on the fit and comfort. And, of course, we have our favorite albums and playlists on repeat to assess how each pair sounds and how much listening time you can expect from a single charge.
If headphones are causing a sore spot at the top of your noggin, what good are they no matter how good they sound or cancel noise? Traditionally, the lighter they are, the more comfortable headphones will prove over extended listening sessions. But manufacturers can also help improve comfort by being thoughtful in the materials they choose for ear cups and the headband that wraps over your cranium. Clamping force is another important factor; some headphones will squeeze against your head firmer than others; this can be great if you want a pair to stay put for exercise, but not ideal if you’re just trying to relax and tune out the world.
Practically any of our picks will do an excellent job at providing distraction-free listening when on a flight, at the office, or if you’re traversing city streets. Noise-canceling headphones work by using built-in microphones to listen to the sounds in your environment, and they invert those soundwaves to eliminate the cacophony of everyday life.
Having powerful noise-canceling used to mean compromising on sound quality, but that’s simply not the case anymore. Most of today’s flagship ANC headphones provide dynamic, rich, and immersive sound. They support a variety of Bluetooth audio codecs, and some (like Sony’s LDAC and aptX HD) can deliver higher bitrates than the status quo AAC and SBC codecs. But don’t get bogged down in those details; headphones that are tuned well with the right components can make your music sound fantastic regardless of codecs.
One benefit of buying headphones instead of earbuds is that they can last much longer on a single charge. Whereas you’ll need to plop most earbuds back into their case after five hours or so, wireless headphones can keep the music going for around 20 hours. And some recent models can even exceed that, reaching 40 hours.
We all try to do our best at multitasking, and multipoint Bluetooth connectivity is essential for headphones to meet the same challenge. Multipoint allows your noise-canceling headphones to pair with two devices at the same time. This makes it easy to take a call on your phone and get right back to the music you were playing on your laptop without fussing with Bluetooth settings menus.
Headphones are increasingly gaining features that are exclusive to individual manufacturer ecosystems. For example, the AirPods Max are capable of head-tracking spatial audio and other tricks like audio sharing — but only if you’re listening to them with one of the company’s other products, like an iPhone, Mac, or iPad.
Sony’s WH-1000XM5 have a completely different design from their predecessors. The changes result in greater comfort when you wear them on your head for extended periods of time — like on a flight or at the office.
Noise cancellation has been further improved from the already-stellar performance of the WH-1000XM4, putting Sony at the front of the pack compared to all major competitors. Sound quality is more detailed and balanced than the older XM4; the low end is still punchy but tighter and less boomy than before. The XM5 offer excellent voice call performance, and they can connect to two devices simultaneously, so you can stay clued in on what’s happening on your phone when you’re working away on your laptop or tablet.
The headphones come in black and white.Photo: Chris Welch / The Verge
Sony’s headphones also include unique features like “speak to chat,” which automatically pauses your music and pipes in ambient audio whenever you start talking. Or you can hold one hand over the right ear cup to activate quick attention mode, which is convenient when grabbing a coffee or listening to airport announcements. And like other high-end headphones, the XM5 can detect when they’ve been removed from your ears for auto-pause.
Earlier this year, Sony introduced the WH-1000XM6, and while they offer incremental improvements over the XM5 in terms of sound and ANC performance, they’re also more expensive at $449.99. The XM5, meanwhile, can regularly be found for $300 or less. Weighing price versus performance, the XM5 are a better value, and it’s why they remain at the top of our list.
Bose’s QuietComfort Ultra Headphones are basically a blend of the company’s prior Noise Canceling Headphones 700 and QuietComfort 45 that borrow the best traits from both — while throwing in a new “immersive audio” listening mode. Like past Bose cans, they’re very light and comfortable on your head, even when worn for long stretches of time. Best of all, unlike the Noise Canceling Headphones 700, these can be folded to make them easier to travel with.
Their 24-hour battery life is more than adequate, and Bose has added support for the aptX Adaptive Bluetooth codec for improved audio fidelity on Android devices.

The immersive audio feature works well on some songs, but less so on others. It’s worth experimenting with, but even if you leave it off entirely, you’re left with best-in-class noise cancellation, pleasing sound, and a helpful “aware” transparency mode.
Battery life: 20 hours / Multipoint: No / Audio codecs: AAC, SBC / Connectors: Lightning (audio and charging)
There was definitely some sticker shock when Apple introduced a $549 set of noise-canceling headphones in 2020. The AirPods Max cost significantly more money than any of our other recommendations. But Apple’s build quality is on another level: these trade the plastic you’ll find in many noise-canceling headphones for steel and aluminum, and the ear cups are a breathable mesh fabric. They’re hefty headphones, there’s no denying that. But aside from Apple refusing to include a headphone cable in the box, there’s nothing about the AirPods Max that feels cheap. And I appreciate the simplicity of using the digital crown for controls instead of relying on hit-or-miss gestures like taps and swipes.
The most important part is that the AirPods Max deliver audio quality that’s up there with the best high-end Bluetooth headphones. They have an immersive, wide soundstage and fantastic dynamics, and you’ll find yourself hopping around your music library just to hear what they bring out in your favorite songs.
The AirPods Max have a stylish design and very premium build quality.Photo by Chris Welch / The Verge
Apple’s noise cancellation is on par with Sony and Bose, and no one does transparency mode better; at times, it can make you think you’re not wearing headphones at all. Extra features like Spatial Audio (surround sound for movies and TV shows) and automatic switching between Apple gadgets help make it a bit easier to swallow their daunting price.
But the AirPods Max do have faults. The carrying case is abysmal, battery life is only average for the category, and just like regular AirPods, they’re designed with Apple’s ecosystem in mind. It gets much harder to justify dropping $550 on them if you live outside the iPhone and Mac universe.
Also, it’s worth noting that Apple introduced a new pair of AirPods Max with USB-C charging and five new color options in September. We’re currently testing the latest model, but given just how little they differ from Apple’s existing over-ear headphones, we don’t anticipate markedly different performance. That said, they do support lossless audio and ultra low latency thanks to a recent firmware update, which, technically, isn’t something you’ll find on the Lightning model.
If sound quality is priority number one, then Bowers & Wilkins has you covered with the PX7 S2e headphones. They exhibit superb, detailed sound quality that some people prefer to the AirPods Max. The Bowers & Wilkins cans are true to the company’s legacy and style, with a fine-crafted design that exudes quality. And the newer “e” variant has a revamped digital signal processing that can bring out the best audio quality from streaming music.
I prefer their physical buttons over the tap/swipe ear cup gestures of Sony’s WH-1000XM5. With 30 hours of battery life, they’re more than competitive with mainstream, less expensive picks. And the sound profile is delightfully warm and will bring out the most from your favorite music. The main downside of the PX7 S2e is that there’s no traditional 3.5mm or 2.5mm output for a headphone cable. You can still listen wired over USB-C, however.
Sixty hours. They can last for up to 60 hours on a single charge. That’s really all you need to know about the Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones if you’re looking for an endurance champ. But they also sound terrific and prove extremely comfortable over long listening periods. This combination doesn’t come cheap, but you can occasionally find some good deals on them.
Sennheiser’s Momentum 4 Wireless headphones edge out Bowers & Wilkins on comfort thanks to their lighter design, and the noise cancellation is slightly better. Next to the Sonys and Bose’s QC Ultra Headphones, it doesn’t get much cozier. These are headphones you can wear for multiple hours without any fatigue or pressure on your ears.
They lack the vintage style of prior Sennheiser cans (like the Momentum 3, left), but the Momentum 4 are far more comfortable.Photo by Chris Welch / The Verge
Sennheiser’s sound signature is a bit more expressive and puts more emphasis on bass than B&W, but that upper treble range still comes through crystal clear. My only real nitpick with the Sennheisers is that they tend to occasionally power on inside the case and automatically connect to my phone for no apparent reason.
Both the B&W and Sennheiser headphones support multipoint connectivity and a range of Bluetooth codecs, including SBC, AAC, aptX, and aptX Adaptive.

Attorneys for Brian Kelly have informed LSU in a letter that the school’s claim that it had not “formally terminated” Kelly as its football coach has “made it nearly impossible” for Kelly to get another coaching job.
According to the letter, which was sent Nov. 18 to LSU athletic director Verge Ausberry and board of supervisors member John H. Carmouche, Kelly says he “reserves all rights to seek any and all damages to the fullest extent permitted by law” for the interference in any potential job candidacy.
“As you know, there is absolutely no basis to LSU’s contrived positions that Coach Kelly was not terminated or that cause existed for such termination,” the letter, which was obtained by ESPN, reads. “LSU’s conduct, including its failure to confirm that Coach Kelly was terminated without cause and its unsupported allegations of misconduct on the part of Coach Kelly, has made it nearly impossible for Coach Kelly to secure other football-related employment.
“LSU’s conduct continues to harm Coach Kelly, particularly during this critical hiring period.”
LSU declined comment, as it is part of an ongoing legal matter.
The LSU board of supervisors voted Friday to allow new president Wade Rousse to formally terminate Kelly. The board did not give an indication of whether the firing was going to be for cause or without cause.
Kelly, 64, was initially relieved of his duties on Oct. 26, one day after a 49-25 loss to Texas A&M dropped the Tigers to 5-3. At the time, the school made clear in public statements that the dismissal was performance related.
In November, according to a legal filing by Kelly, the school informed Kelly’s representatives that then-athletic director Scott Woodward did not have the authority to dismiss Kelly. The school then stated it had reason to fire Kelly “for cause,” which would impact the pay out of his contract, which is about $54 million.
In response, Kelly filed a petition of declaratory judgement in the 19th Judicial District for the Parish of East Baton Rouge (Louisiana) asking for a judge to assert that Kelly was fired on Oct. 26 without cause.
In a separate letter, this one dated Nov. 19 and obtained by ESPN, Kelly’s attorneys say that Carmouche told them that Carmouche had “expressed his hope” they’d agree to send written confirmation of Kelly’s firing without cause, but only after meeting with a board member and Rousse.
The letter claims Carmouche asked that Kelly withdraw the petition for declaratory judgement.
The Nov. 19 letter also said Kelly will not withdraw the petition for declaratory judgement until he “receives written confirmation” signed by the board of supervisors chair Scott Ballard, Ausberry and Rousse “that his termination was without cause” and that LSU will “fulfill its contractual obligation to pay Coach Kelly the full liquidated damages.”
Kelly’s attorneys say that all of the legal wrangling and confusion has made it difficult for Kelly to pursue open head-coaching jobs in college football. There are currently nine vacancies in the power conferences, with others expected to open as the coaching carousel begins following the conclusion of the regular season this weekend.
How Much Do the Celebrities Get Paid to Be on Dancing With the Stars?
Citing multiple sources, Variety reported in 2019 that Dancing With the Stars contestants make $125,000 for the rehearsal period and first two weeks of the show. If they progress beyond that point, the outlet continued, they earn more money each week. At the time, sources told the publication stars could earn a maximum of $295,000.
However, Bobby Bones said he made more than this when he won season 27 with Sharna Burgess in 2018.
“That show pays OK,” the radio personality said on a Sept. 2025 episode of Jason Tartick‘s podcast Trading Secrets. “Like, first episode, no money. Second episode, $10,000. I think it’s like, $10,000, $10,000, $20,000, $20,000. It ends up being $50,000 an episode if you last.”
Also receiving a base salary of around $110,000, Bones continued, “I ended up making close to $400,000 from that show.”
ABC has not publicly confirmed any of these figures.

– A move for Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo is being weighed up by Manchester United, according to the Manchester Evening News. The Red Devils are said to be “very interested” in landing the 25-year-old, and they would be willing to offer him his preferred No. 24 squad number should he choose to make the switch to Old Trafford. That number is currently assigned to goalkeeper André Onana, who is spending the season on loan at Turkish club Trabzonspor. Semenyo has registered six goals and three assists in the Premier League so far this season. That form has caught the attention of several Premier League clubs, with Liverpool also recently linked with interest in securing his signature. The Ghana international reportedly has a £60 million release clause that becomes active in January.
– Negotiations are continuing between Bayern Munich and center-back Dayot Upamecano regarding a new contract amid interest from multiple clubs in Europe, according to Bild. Chelsea are believed to be one of the latest teams keeping tabs on his situation, while Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Internazionale are also keen. The Bundesliga champions are expected to explore an approach for either Borussia Dortmund‘s Nico Schlotterbeck or Crystal Palace‘s Marc Guéhishould they fail to agree to new terms with Upamecano.
– Real Madrid striker Gonzalo García is being tracked by Aston Villa and Brighton & Hove Albion, according to Football Insider. Both Premier League sides are reported to have made contact regarding a potential loan move for the 21-year-old, who has made 10 first team appearances across all competitions so far this season. Los Blancos are yet to make a decision on whether they’d be willing to part ways with him amid concerns that he could be needed for extra attacking depth.
– It could be difficult for Inter Milan to secure a deal to sign Roma midfielder Manu Koné, Fabrizio Romano reports. The 24-year-old France international is considered an important player by manager Gian Piero Gasperini, and the Giallorossi have no plans to let him leave the Stadio Olimpico. The Nerazurri have been linked with interest in Koné for sometime, but it looks as though they could be forced to move on to other options in January, with Roma top of the Serie A table.
– An offer worth £25 million will be required for Liverpool to land AZ Alkmaar midfielder Kees Smit, Football Insider reports. It is reported that the Premier League champions are one of the sides considering a move in January for the 19-year-old, but they could face competition from Real Madrid, Barcelona, Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund. Netherlands U21 international Smit has directly contributed to four goals in 12 Eredivisie matches this season.

To call Musk’s DC tenure contentious would be an understatement. As a man accustomed to getting what he wants and functioning as a powerful executive, he swept through Washington with a figurative chainsaw, slashing budgets, firing workers, and making audacious power grabs. Musk’s brash behavior angered government employees and alienated would-be allies, like Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy. Eventually, the bad blood reached a fever pitch, and Musk had a minor physical altercation with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
Politico details the stunning fallout. By late May, DOGE and Musk had lost favor with President Trump, and White House aides began pushing back more forcefully against the fledgling government agency. When Musk was officially given a farewell by the White House on May 30th, it also pushed out his right-hand man, Steve Davis.
But Davis, an engineer who had worked closely with Musk for over 20 years, including at DOGE, simply refused to leave. He stepped in to try and take the reins, but this didn’t sit well with many of the remaining DOGE staffers. But others remained loyal, essentially splitting the department in two.
When those uncomfortable with Davis’ leadership, given that he was no longer a government employee, tried to plan for DOGE’s future without him, Davis accused them of staging a coup. The White House quickly rooted out his loyalists, putting an end to Davis’ brief attempt to consolidate control in less than two weeks.
What followed was a series of restructurings, changes in leadership, and ultimately, the end of DOGE as a centralized organization. When Reuters reached out to the White House to ask about the status of DOGE earlier this month, it was told, “that doesn’t exist.”
Musk rode into Washington with big ambitions of slashing government spending by trillions of dollars. Instead, during his brief time in DC, government spending actually increased, and he left behind many burned bridges.
